Easter Thoughts from Libby
I hope the severe thunderstorms that have harassed our area brought
no damage to you and yours. Standing at my back door looking out at the
garden, I prayed that my trees would bend and not break with the winds.
The display of massive power by nature always awes me and reminds me of
how insignificant human beings are to this earth. I bowed my head with
gratitude when my gardens and trees were spared, and sent a prayer up
for those people severely injured and killed.
Tomorrow is
Good Friday and it is also Earth Day. It would be wonderful to celebrate
this day by planting a garden, a tree, or a flower. And while we are on
our knees, we can bless God and the Creator for the bounty which is
ours. May you and yours have a wonderful holiday.

| 3-30-11 The lush Plant Odyssey gardens after a Spring rain |
March 23, 2011
We have Poppies; Strawberries about to bloom; gorgeous Wildflowers like Phlox, Foam Flowers, and Solomon's Seal. Plant Odyssey is a hand-watered Garden Center. The quality and health of the plants you purchase from us reflect their loving and individual care.
You can buy the Wildflowers knowing they were nursery-propagated and not collected from the wild. Rebecca Cohn has devoted 30 years of her life to growing Wildflowers. She does a beautiful job and is respectful of nature.
When you come to the Shop, be sure and check the back racks against the fence outside for newly-delivered plants. We receive so many deliveries, we can't always put them out the same day. So feel free to shop the racks!
And if you need help, Marina, Jason and Charlie are here to assist. Our staff's knowledge, creativity and skills (including carpentry) have all contributed to bringing Libby's vision to life at Plant Odyssey.
